Escape Egypt

from Instrumental Sessions by James Peden

/

about

Probably the darkest track on the release. Features a harmonic scale that is prominently used in Egyptian music. The musical mode was chosen to evoke visions of escaping a place that has kept us in bondage and slavery. Just like the slaves in Moses' time they had a promise to go to the Promised Land and Escape Egypt from the hard and dark times they faced.
